During the whole year Tivat accepts and sends passengers to such cities as – Belgrade, Moscow, London, Frankfurt, Zurich, Rome and many others. The airport is very crowded during the summer months when tourists from all over the world come to spend their vacation on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro.
Upon year 2006 Tivat had more passengers during the year than any other airport of the region. The reason wasn’t only in the Adriatic coast, but also in the nearby luxury yacht village – Porto Montenegro – the first and biggest marine of this type on the Adriatic.

Kotor is the old central town of Boka, which had been situated on the crossing of merchant ways. It is a true museum-city with a rich cultural and historical heritage and numerous buildings from the time of the byzantine and venetian ruling. The old sea port of Kotor is surrounded by majestic town walls. The city has remained very well and is under protection of UNESCO as a part of the World Heritage.

Irena:”This is without any doubt the most beautiful part of Europe”

Traditional happenings for Kotor such as carnivals, masked-balls, fish, cultural, religious holidays are enjoyed by all generations and have been attracting many tourists to the town for years.

Perast is the oldest settlement of the bays bank ( this is proved by the remains of late Stone Age culture). However Perast got its modern beautiful look only in the 17-18 centuries, becoming the most vivid example of baroque architecture on the Adriatic coast. Two islands situated very close to the town – Lady of the Rocks and St George – form a real union with the small settlement.

The legend says that on the day of 22d of July 1452 sailors found the icon of Virgin Mary with child on a sand mound in the middle of the sea. From that day on there was a tradition when sailors upon returning from a long sailing have put several stones on the place of the mound. That way the island Our Lady of the Rocks was formed.

The visiters of the church can also see the beautiful gobelin made by Jacinta Kunic-Miovic, who waited for her husband to return from sailing for 25 years in a row. She interlaced the gobelin with her hair, golden threads in youth and silver threads when she became old.

On the other side within only 20 minutes away from Kotor you can find Porto Montenegro – the first luxurious port On the Adriatic coast for yachts 12 to 150 m long.

Silvana: “Exclusive, harmonious and very pleasent place”

It was highly estimated among the yachting lovers and high society members from all over the world.
